## Expected Time Frame

Local ports on average take about 1-2 weeks to be completed if there are no rejections.

Toll-free ports on average take 3-5 business days to be completed if there are no rejections.

## Process

We have two ways for you to process ports through us; Email and through our [Dashboard](https://dash.virtualpbx.com/) as an adminstrator

### By Email

The simplest way to port in to VirtualPBX is by emailing a copy of our LOA and a copy of the bill with the current provider(s) in which your number(s) are currently located. Please send both to porting@virtualpbx.com!LOA-LocalTollFree.pdf

You will receive an automated email that the request has been received by the system.

By the next business day, you will receive a second email from our Porting team as they begin processing the request. This email will include further information on what to expect.

From that point forward we will communicate to you any further updates on the port request via email. This will include the expected port completion date or rejection notices that we receive from the other carrier.
